Had the chance to take couple of days off and enjoy the 4th of July with family and friends locally here in Redondo Beach CA. The day started off a bit overcast, but soon turned to be a beautiful summer afternoon with tons of buzz and excitement.

The crowd was unlike anything I had seen before as tons of people had gathered alongside the beach near Veterans park to witness the fireworks that were going to take place at night.

As the night drew nearer the excitement grew as the crowd became greater and greater. I shared the night with family and friends on top of the Crown Plaza Hotel, which provided a spectacular view of the nights fireworks. The most exciting part of the night was the chaos on the streets after the show as the crowd rushed to get home to avoid the traffic. Fortunately for us we were in our home city and didn’t have to worry about fighting traffic to make it home.

Every 4th of July gives me an opportunity to reflect on how fortunate we are to live in such a great country. God bless the United States of America!
